What direction should Japan’s manufacturing industry, which once led the world, and especially its small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which have been considered the source of its competitiveness, take in the future? We will examine ways to revitalize the Japanese economy and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the perspective of non-Japanese who are engaged in business as owners or employees of SMEs in Japan. Students from the Netherlands and Finland, who are interested in Japan, will be invited to rediscover the “attractiveness of Japan” from various perspectives.
